CROSS CULTURAL COMMUNICATIONS CONSULTANT

Naturally philanthropic, Abby McCullough holds a Degree in Cross Cultural Communications from the Maritime Christian College (MCC), Charlottetown, Canada.  During her Bachelor of Arts (2009-2011) Abby was involved in an ongoing international immersion program, generously providing her services to various social and political organisations in Haiti. Including working extensively with local communities, orphanages, children’s hospice centres and internationally established crisis centres, where she was directly responsible for providing ongoing counselling, situational assessment and management, and crisis assistance following the devastating Haiti earthquake of 2010.

After Haiti Abby continued her philanthropic focus, developing an activities program for Inner New York City Youth aimed at providing opportunities, support and education to underprivileged children. As a result of her time in New York and her experience in Haiti, Abby has gone on to speak at numerous conventions throughout Canada, the USA and in South East Asia. She has become a sought after adviser on effective communication and affecting change in different cultures with lower socio-economic groups and in challenging environments – including third world countries as well as disease, disaster and conflict zones.

Abby serves as an international cultural advisor to Middle8 Media contributing her specific knowledge on cultural practices and relevance to ensure that every campaign Middle8 Media designs has a global consciousness.
